忠臣蔵としても有名な赤穂浪士の吉良討ち入りがありますが、この本は赤穂浪士のプロフィールが書かれた本です
裏表紙が破れて無くなっていますが、見開きで作られた横長の画面も見られて、江戸時代の本の中でも珍しいものです

江戸時代の本ですから和紙で作られていて1ページ1ページが大変薄く繊細でありますから、破れたページが多々あります、人物に塗られた赤色は書き足されたものなのか、元々の彩色なのかはわかりかねますが、背景を想像するのも面白いものです

The back cover is broken and lost, but there are also landscape screens made with spreads, which is rare among Edo period books.
