上総七兵衛景清搦捕らるるの図　一勇斎（歌川）国芳画 Kuniyishi

この図の主題は平安時代、中央に写る黒い着物をまとった主人公藤原景清が壇ノ浦の戦いで源氏に敗れたものの、抵抗を続け奈良の東大寺にある転害門（てがいもん）を訪れた源頼朝を討とうとする場面です
景清は平安時代末期から鎌倉時代初期にかけて実在した平家の武将
舞台となった転害門は当時の姿のまま奈良公園の近くに残っていて、今でも見ることができます

全体的に状態は良く、3枚に続いた画面もずれていません
左、中央の図に折れ跡あり、右の図中央部に墨の跡あり

東京都立中央図書館特別文庫室に同図の所蔵あり

The subject of this figure is the source of the hero who visited the terrible gate at Todaiji Temple in Nara, despite the fact that in the Heian period, the protagonist, Keisuke Fujiwara, wearing a black kimono in the center, was defeated by Genji in the battle of Dannoura, but continued to resist. This is a scene where Yoritomo is about to be defeated
Kagekiyo was a Heike warlord who existed from the late Heian period to the early Kamakura period.
The stage gate that was set remains near Nara Park as it was at the time, and you can still see it

There is a broken mark in the center figure on the left, and there is a mark of ink in the center of the right figure
